Food Manufacturing Guarding Audit

This international food manufacturer engaged SMS Europe to carry out an audit of the guarding of its food processing machinery. On a site that employed 600 people, our consultants audited each piece of food production machinery and provided a report on the guarding to the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998, HSE guidance and best practice, and crucially BSEN 13587 Safety Distance for Machinery.
